Donnie Mather tem quase 20 anos de experiência em treinamentos em Viewpoints e Método Suzuki. Trabalhou com Anne Bogart e com a SITI Company como artista associado por 7 anos. Sua experiência também inclui treinamento com Tadashi Suzuki, Mary Overlie e Tina Landau.Já deu aulas em diversos cursos de universidades nos Estados Unidos, Alemanha, Chile, Colômbia, Mexico, Porto Rico e Turquia. No Brasil, ele já ministrou workshops no Miolodasartes em São Paulo, na UDESC em Florianópolis, na UFU em Uberlândia e  na Companhia dos Atores, Sesc Rio e UNIRIO (palestrante em Viewpoints – 2009 EnGrupe) no Rio de Janeiro.
